Why I started the Antlered Doe 

My name is Alyssa and I have a true passion for the outdoors.  It is my passion for the outdoors and art that fueled me to take a giant leap of faith in 2014 and quit my nursing job to follow my dream of making antler jewelry full time.  It was and will remain my mission to design affordable  jewelry after the beauty that I encounter in the wilderness.  I hope my jewelry empowers other women that share the same passion as me.  I hand carve my rings and use pyrography as well as paint to create images and designs. I am proud to say that I am now in my 9th year of business and am a female owned and operated small business located in the USA!  I am self-taught and have carved in my shop for 8-12 hours a day every day for the past 8 years.  

Other than being an artist and business owner, I am also a mother to 3 beautiful children and a wife to the love of my life, Jared.
